Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat banque is wagered on with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, but the beginning number is dumped. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (five plus 6 = eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be given based on the following rules:

- If the player or banker achieves a total of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player holds, the house takes a card on 5 or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to see if the bank stands or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19:20 (even money less a five percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you leave the table so make sure you have funds around before you head out). Winning wagers on the player pay 1:1. Winning wagers for a tie usually pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9:1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 hands. Be wary of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one versus 8 to 1)

Wagered on properly baccarat provides relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of general misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Keeping track of previous results on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.

The most familiar and almost certainly the most accomplished plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This technique is employed to build up winnings and minimizing losses.

Begin by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a sum of 3 chips on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, pull off 4 so you keep two on the 3rd bet. If you succeed on the 3rd wager, put down two on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of six on the 4th wager.

Should you do not win on the 1st round, you take a hit of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a defeat on the 4th means you are even. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. This means you are able to not win on the second round 5 instances for each successful streak of four rounds and in the end, experience no loss.
