Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are worth their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they only portray the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of 7 and 5 produces a total of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of eight or 9, both bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart will be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even money less a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have dollars left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie customarily pay out eight to one and sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a crazy bet as ties will occur lower than one every ten hands. Definitely don’t try placing bets on a tie. Regardless odds are significantly better – 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

When done accurately, baccarat offers pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually an indicator of future actions. Keeping track of prior outcomes on a chart is definitely a waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and possibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-2-6 technique. This method is employed to build up earnings and lowering risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd gamble. If you win the 3rd wager, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth bet.

If you lose on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
