Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards valued less than ten are said to be worth face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they strictly appear as the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of two cards will now be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand shall be the sum of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For example, a hand of seven and 5 has a total score of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card might be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of eight or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Winning bets on the banker pay nineteen to twenty (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have funds still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie customarily pays 8 to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is not a good bet as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be cautious of placing bets on a tie. Even so odds are appreciably better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

When done correctly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with most games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way a predictor of future actions. Tracking of previous conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a total waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful tactic is the 1-three-two-six method. This technique is deployed to increase earnings and cutting back risk.

start by betting 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, subtract four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
