Baccarat Policies

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are valued less than ten are give a value of their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they strictly represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for every hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For example, a hand of seven as well as 5 has a total score of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or nine, each players stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19 to twenty (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and paid out when you leave the table so ensure that you have cash left over before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie customarily pays 8 to one and on occasion nine to one. (This is not a good gamble as ties will occur less than 1 every ten hands. abstain from laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are appreciably better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

When done smartly, baccarat offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with many games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. 1 of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way a predictor of future events. Staying abreast of previous outcomes on a chart is a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most popular and probably most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six concept. This process is employed to pump up payout and reducing risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you come out even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
